Dapton Pro — Privacy Policy

Dapton Pro is an internal staff-management app used by employees of DAPTON-managed businesses in Kosovo (attractions, hospitality, and retail venues). It is not available to the general public — accounts are created and managed by the employer, not self-registered.

Information we collect

• Account & employee information: name, employee ID, and login credentials provided by your employer to access the app.
• Work data: shift schedules, leave requests and balances, task assignments, and sales/transaction records you interact with as part of your job.
• Device & push notification data: a push notification token so the app can deliver work-related alerts (e.g. new tasks, shift reminders).
• Camera & photo library access: used when you choose to scan a QR code or membership card as part of a work task (e.g. attraction check-in, restaurant ordering), and when you choose to attach a photo to a leave request (e.g. a photographed doctor's note). Photos are only accessed when you actively choose to take or select one — the app does not access your camera or photo library in the background.
• Files/documents: if you choose to attach a document (e.g. a PDF) to a leave request, that file is uploaded and stored with your request so your employer's HR/leave approvers can review it.
• Location data: if your employer uses the Attendance feature, your device's location is checked at the moment you check in to a shift, to confirm you're at an approved work location (geofencing). Location is only accessed at that moment — the app does not track or store your location continuously or in the background.

How we use this information

All data collected is used solely to operate the app's internal business functions: staff scheduling, attendance and leave management, task tracking, point-of-sale operations, and related notifications. We do not sell your data, and we do not use any third-party advertising or analytics tracking services.

Data sharing

Your data is shared only with the DAPTON-managed business you work for, to operate the features above. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Data retention

Your data is retained for as long as your employment/account is active, and as required for the employer's normal business and legal record-keeping purposes.
